is a three year old unaltered male who disappeared from his family home in Palisade, MN on 5/15/2008. He has never left home before. He is not tattooed or chipped, but his markings are distinctive. He was wearing a teal green nylon collar when last seen at home.

He was last seen near Waukenabo and Round Lakes in Aitkin County Minnesota 5/17/2008 and it is feared that someone may have picked him up and taken him out of his home area. (He may have been picked up by a would be bird hunter, but the dog is gun shy.) WE ARE OFFERING A REWARD FOR HIS RETURN. His family misses him very much please help.

To report suspected animal abuse or neglect, please call Minnesota Federated Humane Societies toll-free at 1-877-826-4625. MFHS works with local law enforcement and humane agents to investigate reports.

Effective August 15, 2007, BHS no longer accepts stray animals or pets surrendered by owners. BHS operates without a shelter and is unable to house animals. In the event an animal is seized by law enforcement as a result of neglect or abuse, BHS will arrange foster care for that animal.

BHS provides a telephone answer line for the public to leave messages regarding animal care or concerns. We retrieve and respond to messages each day.

BHS provides financial aid to low-income pet owners who wish to have their animal spayed and neutered. At this time, we are unable help with routine or emergency medical care costs.

BHS encourages licensing of cats and dogs. Licenses are available through the City of International Falls.

BHS is a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce and participates in various community events and fundraisers.
